The year 2014 has ended...a week ago. And looking back, I think Hasbro has delivered us a lot of good Transformers figures last year. There were some disappointments *cough*Lockdown*cough* but overall, there were a lot of good toys. So, to commemorate 2014, here are my top 10 Transformers figures of 2014.

Now, I do want to clarify some things. This list only includes figures that I've bought so unfortunately, Generations Arcee and Masterpiece Bumblebee aren't on this list because I don't have them. Sorry guys. The Combiner Wars figures also aren't included in this list because even though they were released in my country last December, I didn't bought any of them last year. I only started buying them this week.

And with those out of the way, let's get on with my personal list of Top 10 Transformers figures of 2014!

10. Generations Skrapnel with Reflector

Surprise to see a Legends class figure making into the list? Skrapnel looks absolutely amazing and has the best articulation of any Legends figure released in 2014. He also comes with Reflector who looks good in robot mode and transforms into a nifty looking camera. Plus, he's also the Legends figure that I find myself transforming over and over again simply because of how fun his transformation is.

9. Generations Crosscut

Generations Skids was a fun figure to transform and looks very cool with the amount of guns he has on his robot mode. Then Crosscut was released and I now find myself liking him more than Skids. Not only does he has a better looking color scheme but also a very nice head sculpt. He is the best repaint released this year.

8. Generations Roadbuster

This is a great toy. He has great amount of articulation, has a superb-looking appearance and most of all, includes TONS of guns. Sure it's frustrating pasting stickers on him but after you're done with that, you can then appreciate how awesome this toy is. And those guns he's included with adds more play value to it.

7. Generations Armada Starscream

This figure is a HUGE improvement over the previous one that was released in the Armada toyline 13 years ago. He has a huge range of articulation and thank god the jetpack issue which the previous Armada Starscream figure had is finally fixed on this newer one. It can finally be folded down so that you won't have trouble trying to put this figure into your shelf. Sure some people are upset that his swords aren't form from his wings but let's face it, that wingsword on the old figure didn't really look good at all. Overall, I'm happy with this figure.

6. Age of Extinction Scorn

I may not like the movie but the toys were still great. Of all the Dinobot figures released last year, Scorn is my absolute favorite. He looks menacing in both robot and dinosaur modes, he has a fun transformation and is also the best looking of all the Dinobots. This is the first AOE figure I bought last year and I'm glad it is. This was the figure that convinced me to buy the rest of the figures released in the AOE toyline.

5. Age of Extinction Evasion Mode Optimus Prime

This may well be the best movie Optimus figure I ever have in my collection. Why? Because it is the most G1 toy the movie toyline has ever attempted and it looks great. I love it so much that I custom-painted my figure to make it look even more G1. Even though I admit his transformation is frustrating, I can't deny how much I still love this toy. He is one of the best movie figures released last year. But not as good as...

4. Age of Extinction Hound

Okay so Hound has some balance issues but, with his movie-accurate appearance, fun transformation and TONS of weapons included with him, how can you not like this figure? I did say in my Age of Extinction review that Hound is one of my favorite movie characters and I'm happy with how this toy turned out.

3. Generations Chromia

Oh my God, this figure is absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad that after seven years, Hasbro FINALLY made a Chromia figure that actually has TWO LEGS. Seriously, screw the Revenge of the Fallen Chromia figure...

Generations Chromia is the best fembot released in 2014. She's a great reuse of the RID Prime Arcee (Which is the mold I never had since I still prefer the First Edition Arcee) and has great articulation and poseability. I love this figure so much that I can finally get rid of the horrible ROTF Chromia figure off my shelf and hide it away in a dark corner forever.

2. Generations Sky-Byte

Shocked to see this figure on this list? Yes, a lot of people have pointed out all of the flaws this figure has but you know what? I don't care.

When I got this figure in my hand, I LOVE IT. Sky-Byte is my childhood character because he's from Robots in Disguise, the first cartoon that made me a Transformers fan. I've been waiting for this figure ever since it was first announced and I am NOT disappointed with it. Even though I agree this figure isn't perfect, he still has enough positives to make me overlook the negatives. He has a great head sculpt that looks very cartoon accurate, his firing gimmick works great and his back kibble actually adds play value to the toy! Whether you want the kibbles to make the toy look how Sky-Byte looks like in the show or make the kibble look like Samurai flags, it's possible. As an RID fan, I can totally appreciate this toy for what it is.

And my number one best Transformers figure of 2014 is...

1. Generations Jetfire

Not surprising at all. Generations Jetfire is easily the best Generations toy ever released. He is SO MUCH BETTER than the Classics version, his appearance looks very G1, he has tons of playability, and for a Leader class figure, his transformation is still fun and easy. Sure the chrome is annoying and detracts the figure a bit but thankfully, that's just a minor issue. Also, this figure looks and feels powerful. Just looking at and holding this figure in my hand, I can feel how powerful the figure looks and feels to me. This is a figure that I spent about 90 bucks on and I do not regret spending my money on it.

And with that, that ends my own list of the Top 10 best Transformers figures of 2014. Let me know what you guys think of my list and also tell me what are your favorite Transformers figures of 2014. Here's hoping that 2015 will be another great year of Transformers and I'm already eyeing on the Year of the Goat Soundwave figure. Come on Hasbro, release it in my country already!
My personal list of the top 10 Transformers figures of 2014. This is entirely my own opinion and you are free to agree or disagree with me. Let me know what you guys think! ;)
